Our professional involvement includes membership in state and national professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Members of the firm have served as president of the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the West Virginia Board of Accountantcy and have chaired and served on AICPA committees.

Quality and Integity and innovation are the standards which distinguish Toothman Rice. Since 1976, we have voluntarily submitted to technical peer review every two or three years. It was not until 1988 that peer review became mandatory for the accounting profession.

All professional staff members have received at least forty hours of continuing education yearly since 1974; the profession made this a requirement many years later.
